Damascus Summer Camp

For youth, Damascus Summer Camp Great Lakes is the perfect mix of fun, adventure, and a powerful encounter with Jesus and His Church. Learn how students from our Diocese were spiritually transformed at Damascus.

During the day, Camp is all about the thrill of adventure: ropes courses, games, archery tag, and time at the lake, and more. During the evening, camp shifts into a powerful retreat: Mass, young adult testimonies, Adoration, Reconciliation, prayer opportunities, and more.

The Diocese has reserved spots for 12 middle school students (entering 6th-8th grade in Fall 2027) and 12 high school students (entering 9th-12th grade in Fall 2027). These spots are first-come, first-serve, and we expect camp to fill up quickly this year.

  • Middle School Camp is July 25th - 30th, 2027 (12 spots)
  • High School Camp is July 4th - 9th 2027 (12 spots)
  • Deadline: October 31st at 5pm (this will not be extended as in previous years). 

Cost: $480 (including $150 subsidy by the Diocese) Financial Aid Available

Although Damascus Summer Camp has other weeks available for camp, due to the reservation requirements, the $150/camper Diocesan subsidy only applies to these two weeks.  

Parents are responsible for transporting their students to and from camp.

Steps to Register:

  • Log in [UltraCamp Account Link] or create new user
  • Go to "My Reservations"
  • Select "New Reservation"
  • Click "Add Person", fill in your child’s info, and add them
  • Either: Click “I belong to a group that has reserved spaces” and enter the code above, or use the direct registration links provided above
  • Select the correct camp session (High School or Middle School)
  • Add another camper if needed, or proceed to payment
  • Sponsorship Code: SAGINAW27

To use the Sponsorship Code:

  • Go through the registration process
  • When asked about payment, select "Pay in full"
  • Type the code into the promo code box
  • Click the checkbox next to your reservation
  • Enter payment information which is a requirement for the system
