Respect Life

Through the Incarnation and birth of Christ, God reveals to us the dignity of all human life. Human life, as a gift of God, is sacred and inviolable. The Son of God has united himself with every human being and desires for us to share eternal life with him. For this reason, direct attacks on human life, such as abortion and euthanasia, are always unacceptable. We strive to create a culture that cherishes and protects every human life. Not only must human life not be taken, but it must be protected with loving concern. Each of us is made in the image and likeness of God, and we reflect his glory in the world.

 Respect Life Month 2026

RESPECT LIFE MONTH NOVENA – Each October, the Catholic Church in the United States celebrates Respect Life Month, we pleased to share an easy way to highlight the gift of human life during this time. The annual Respect Life Month novena will take place October 22 – October 30.

Join thousands of Catholics across the country praying for the protection of human life from conception to natural death. Each day of the novena features a different prayer intention, a short reflection, ideas for building a culture of life, and more.
