Join Father Jose Cabrera for a fascinating journey of learning about the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls and their significance for Biblical scholarship.
His Bible Museum displays several fragments, including his most recent acquisition of a complete copy of the Great Isaiah Scroll which is the most complete of all the scrolls discovered since 1946. The original scroll is 24 feet long and dates back to the first century before Christ. During this seminar, Father Jose will also look at the spiritual significance of several passages of the scroll related to our Christian faith. As we virtually go to the area of the Dead Sea in the Holy Land, be sure to wear your explorer's hat!
All are welcome. A $10 donation at the door is kindly requested.
