Preparing for a Covenant marriage between God, and an engaged couple provides a solid foundation for moving forward as you journey together as husband and wife with Christ at the center of your relationship & marriage. Engaged couples in need of marriage preparation are invited to attend this one day event which will offer you time to hear presentations by other couples and a Priest on: Marriage as a Sacrament and the Catholic Wedding ceremony, Family of Origin, the 5 Love Languages & 4 Temperaments, Conflict, problem solving, finances, Intimacy and Natural Family Planning.

Help celebrate Assumption Parish’s heritage with an evening of authentic Polish food, music, and family fun! Proceeds support parish ministries.

This is a family friendly event with dancing, a raffle, and games for kids. 

Parish/School Faith Formation and Youth Ministry Leaders are encouraged to attend a training session on the “Circle of Grace” child and youth safe environment training if you have not already done so. Any parish/school staff, catechists or youth volunteers are also welcome to attend. Utilizing this curriculum in parishes and Catholic schools was optional in the 2023-2024 program year but is mandatory for the 2024-2025 program year. Program administrators who have not yet received a binder (one per parish and/or school), will be able to get theirs at the session.

EMMY-NOMINATED FRANK RUNYEON has starred in over 1,000 TV shows in the last 30 years ... opposite Meg Ryan on AS THE WORLD TURNS, on SANTA BARBARA, FALCON CREST, GENERAL HOSPITAL, LA LAW and MELROSE PLACE. Frank is Catholic, an honors graduate of Seminary and Princeton University.

All are invited to a presentation on the new OCIA. This event will be especially helpful for new and nearly new coordinators and catechists who received little training in the RCIA and as a refresher for anyone with training and experience. The morning session will focus on the catechumenal model of initiation while the afternoon session will focus on what is new in the OCIA and the new National Statutes for Christian Initiation of Adults. Our keynote speaker will be Dr. William Keimig. (Please see biography below.) There will be opportunities to ask questions throughout the day.
