The East Region Council of Catholic Women will hold their Spring Meeting on Wednesday, May 20, at St. John Church /Good Shepherd Parish (4476 N. Washington St.), Ubly. Registration & refreshments will begin at 9:30 a.m.; the meeting will begin at 10 a.m. and end at approximately 2:30 p.m. Mass will be celebrated, and lunch will be served. Cost is $15. Speakers will be Fr. Ron Wagner with the topic of “Prayer Dialogue with the Lord” and Tony Szcygiel, who will speak on the Sleep in Heavenly Peace project. All women of the Diocese are invited!

Safe Environment training is required for all diocesan, parish, and school employees and volunteers in contact with minors. All are welcome.

Approaching the Solemnity of Pentecost, Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption and Assumption Parish, Midland present the monumental Oratorio "Elijah" by Felix Mendelssohn. The performance will feature choir, soloists, and chamber orchestra with organ.

First performance: Sunday, May 17th, 3:00PM | Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption, 615 Hoyt Avenue, Saginaw, MI. Second performance: Thursday, May 21st, 6:30PM | Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 3516 E. Monroe Road, Midland, MI.

We invite you and your loved ones to attend a Memorial Day Mass at one of our Diocese of Saginaw Cemeteries.

Bishop Gruss will celebrate the unique Catholic culture  of rural life with Mass and a luncheon.

To dedicate and celebrate Holy Spirit's new organ, there will be an organ concert on Sunday, May 31 at 3:00 PM featuring organists from the Diocese of Saginaw. 

Tickets are not required.
