World Youth Day 2027: August 1 - 9, 2027

World Youth Day is a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience Mass with Pope Leo, worship, inspiring talks, and Adoration while surrounded by over a million young Catholics. This pilgrimage is for young adults, parish leaders, and 16+ high school juniors and seniors with a parent or guardian. The cost includes airfare, 4-star lodging, transportation, daily breakfast, WYD meals, and registration fee (up to $250). A $500 deposit is due at time of registration. 

The deadline to register is February 15, 2026.

Emmaus Retreat for Grieving Parents

Are you a parent who has lost a child and would appreciate support? Whether it happens through miscarriage, stillbirth, or later in life, the death of a child is a deep and tragic loss for parents – and for their hopes and dreams for the future. No matter what the age, cause of death, or how much time has passed, the grief over the loss of a child weighs heavily on the hearts of parents. On Saturday March 14, 2026 a one-day Emmaus Retreat for Grieving Parents will be offered at St Catherine of Sienna Parish in Bay City.

Workshop on Pastoral Care & New Ritual Book

Join Fr. Jim Bessert's pastoral care training for priests/deacons/lay ecclesial ministers and all laity involved in the pastoral care of the sick, including a roll out of the new edition of the USCCB pastoral care ritual book which is obligatory to use as of Easter 2026.. This will be a valuable workshop for anyone involved in the pastoral care of the sick and the dying. Marriage Preparation Workshop

This workshop features presentations by trained marriage facilitators, practical couple exercises, private discussion and prayer. At the conclusion of the workshop, you will receive a certificate of completion to copy and give to your parish. The cost is $90 per couple and includes lunch. The deadline to register is April 8, 2026.
