Preparing for a Covenant marriage between God, and an engaged couple provides a solid foundation for moving forward as you journey together as husband and wife with Christ at the center of your relationship & marriage. Engaged couples in need of marriage preparation are invited to attend this one day event which will offer you time to hear presentations by other couples and a Priest on: Marriage as a Sacrament and the Catholic Wedding ceremony, Family of Origin, the 5 Love Languages & 4 Temperaments, Conflict, problem solving, finances, Intimacy and Natural Family Planning.

Fr. Marcel Portelli invites you to join him on a memorable 11-day pilgrimage to Greece in the footsteps of St. Paul. We'll visit Philippi where Paul the Apostle delivered his first sermon and established the first church in Europe, Mars Hill in Athens where he spoke to the philosophers, Corinth and the site of St. Paul’s trial. We'll visit the House of the Virgin Mary in Ephesus in Turkey where she lived until her Assumption. On our 3-day cruise we'll discover the captivating Greek islands of Mykonos, Crete, Santorini, and even pray in the grotto on Patmos Island where St.

Focus on Life 2025 Annual Benefit Event
Lisa Gigliotti special guest speaker
Author and former Administrative Law Judge Lisa K. Gigliotti will deliver a powerful message about The Courage to Honor the End of Life; a critical message with the likely reintroduction of bills to legalize assisted suicide in Michigan. For more than twenty-five years Lisa has lived with severe rheumatoid arthritis and myasthenia gravis. Through fourteen major surgeries and recurrent use of a wheelchair, Lisa has maintained a fulfilling and positive life.

Misa Hispana – Hispanic Mass
Our Diocese is again celebrating the Hispanic/Latino culture in our communities with a bi-lingual Mass, this year at St. Joseph Parish of Saginaw, at 4 PM with Bishop Robert Gruss presiding.
